Italy-based nonwovens machinery manufacturer and facility designer Comerio Ercole will present its new bicomponent facility configuration at INDEX23 in Geneva, Nonwovens Industry reported Feb. 21. The new BICOPET facility configuration is currently installed at STP Impianti’s spunmelt plant in Legnano, Italy. The setup includes Comerio’s proprietary three-roll Duetto calender and a high-speed Thermofix thermosetting unit. Both lines are optimized to reduce energy use.
