LOS ANGELES , March 28, 2022 () –

SER North America, a subsidiary of Italy’s Sirmax Group, has begun producing recycled polypropylene plastic at its new facility in Anderson, Indiana, the Indiana Business Journal reported on March 28.

The facility totals 124,000 sq. Ft. In area and has a production capacity of 15,000 tons/year. The facility processes recycled polypropylene from post-industrial waste and post-commercial waste.

The facility cost approximately US$30 million and currently employs 25 workers. The company says it will hire an additional 15 workers by the end of 2022.
