Missouri's K+R Building Materials to distribute Minnesota-based IG Railing's frameless glass railing system across US Midwest; IG Railing is built on patented base or spigot that houses Wi-Fi-controlled LED light, eliminating sight obstructions

September 30, 2024 (press release) –

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Effective immediately, K+R Building Materials will distribute IG Railing®, the #1 brand of frameless glass railing from their five Midwest locations. IG Railing is built on a patented base, or spigot that houses a Wi-Fi controlled LED light, holding 1/2” (12mm) tempered low iron glass. By day, IG Railing eliminates sight obstructions of traditional post and framed rail systems.  By night, the low iron glass + LED lighting allows illumination to flow throughout the panels.  Glass connector accessories, top rail and spigots are available in matte black or polished finishes.

“Building out a national footprint in order to make our products easy to buy continues to be our priority followed by providing exceptional service and support to our customer base” said Mike Kunard, co-owner of IG Railing. “The hard-working team at K+R is a great asset that will bring immediate results to markets that have demonstrated demand for our glass railing system.”

“Being specialized in outdoor living products, we have been looking for a solution that fits in our supply chain because there is a wealth of demand for view capturing vs. view obstructing railing systems” shared K+R President, Jeff Johnson.  “We are excited to leverage our sales expertise and distribution centers throughout the Midwest with the product offering from IG Railing® which complements our current product offering to our lumber dealer customers.”
