The Madison’s Lumber Prices Index for the week ending May 19, 2023 is: US$390.5 mfbm

This is up by +0.5%, or +$2, from the previous week when it was US$388.4

A note on this new index from Madison's Lumber Reporter: 

The Chicago Mercantile Exchange has made a change to Lumber Futures.
On Monday, May 15 the traditional futures trading board is being retired, and the new futures (which was started a year ago) will be the only ticker. As such, there will be no historical comparison beyond mid-2022.

The new Madison’s Lumber Prices Index is constructed using the same species as Futures (WSPF, ESPF, Douglas fir, Hem-Fir), with weighed averages based on the North America production volume ratio over the past few years.
