Prices received by farmers in July for grains, oilseeds, specialty crops, potatoes, cattle, hogs, poultry, eggs and dairy products are now available.
The July Alberta feeder steers price was $131.22 per hundredweight, up 6.0% from June but down 2.6% from July 2012 when the price was $134.79.
The Quebec grain corn price was $250.00 per tonne in July, down 3.8% from June and down 14.1% from July 2012 when the price was $291.15.
