TNT Express appoints Jeroen Seyger as interim CFO, member of executive board, replacing Bernard Bot, who was appointed interim CEO Sept. 24

HOOFDDORP, Netherlands , October 8, 2012 (press release) – TNT Express N.V. today announced that Jeroen Seyger has been appointed as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and interim member of the Executive Board. Jeroen has taken over the CFO responsibilities from Bernard Bot, who was appointed interim CEO on 24 September 2012.

Jeroen joined TNT in 2003, and has held a range of senior management positions in Finance, including Group Treasurer and, most recently, Director Business Control. Prior to joining TNT, Jeroen worked at Sara Lee | DE, ABN AMRO and Rabobank.

Antony Burgmans, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said: "We are very pleased with the appointment of Jeroen Seyger as interim CFO. We wish him every success in this important role."

Bernard Bot, interim CEO, said: "Jeroen’s financial and business experience inside and outside the company, plus his involvement in recent strategic projects, gives me great confidence."
