LOS ANGELES, August 2, 2013 (press release) – IndustryIntel partners with PAC – The Packaging Association, a not-for-profit, package/material neutral corporation that is a vital partner and catalyst for the packaging value chain and advocates for all safe and sustainable packaging.

IndustryIntel, a market intelligence and information management company serving the forest products, packaging, and food and beverage industries, today announced a new partnership with PAC – The Packaging Association through IndustryIntel’s i2partnership initiative.

Through this partnership, IndustryIntel will provide PAC with market intelligence services and PAC will provide IndustryIntel sponsorship at PAC and PAC NEXT events.

Through its i2solution suite of services, IndustryIntel delivers market intelligence for decision makers in the packaging industry, including the glass, metal, plastic, paper and flexible packaging sectors.

PAC is a vital partner and catalyst in the packaging value chain, connecting retailers, consumer packaged goods, packaging converters, raw material suppliers, pre-press and graphics, packaging machinery, professional services, waste management, governments, non-governmental organizations, academic institutions and students.

In 2011, PAC created PAC NEXT, a North American initiative to help the industry transition toward a vision of “A World Without Packaging Waste.” Industry Intel’s July 23 i2live webinar on bioplastics was sponsored by PAC NEXT and featured its Executive Director Alan Blake as moderator.

“PAC membership categories drive the entire packaging supply chain and the organization proactively shares knowledge throughout the industry to provide advantages to their members. As a market intelligence company, we are proud to partner with PAC to provide valuable information that will assist the association and its membership,” said Rami Ghandour, CEO of IndustryIntel.

PAC President and CEO James D. Downham, stated, “This important partnership with IndustryIntel allows PAC to connect our expansive membership via our event-networking capabilities with the international packaging community and to share our inclusive products PACsecure, PACed and PAC NEXT.”

PAC members that are also IndustryIntel clients and/or partners include Bemis Co. Inc., Export Development Canada and the Sustainable Packaging Coalition, a project of GreenBlue.
