Business Development Manager

The Role We Need Right Now

You will be the first point of contact to new business and the bridge to bringing on new clients. You will be mentored by our leadership team, and have daily interaction with our CEO. The Business Development Managers serve as our company ambassadors.

Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to ideal prospects at strategically targeted companies
  • Engage in productive business conversations with the right people at our target companies
  • Present our value proposition in a way that generates curiosity
  • Set quality meetings for our Enterprise Sales Team to take on

Required Skills/Characteristics:

  • Have 3-5 years of business, sales, or customer service experience
  • Are an excellent communicator, both on the phone and by email
  • You are smart and logical, and have an eagerness to learn at every opportunity
  • Are efficient at, and love using technology, and can marry this with a strong networking capability
  • Will quickly learn and understand our industry, key markets players and competitors
  • You can easily build rapport and establish relationships with prospects
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience is required

  • Salary of $50-$60K with opportunity to earn up to an additional 50%+ in bonus/commissions.

YOUR ROLE

The ideal candidate will join our client success team to work with our existing client base to grow our business by spotting and acting upon new opportunities in under-penetrated accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with existing clients to understand their business needs inside-out

  • Advise clients on best practices and product solutions

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in client management or related role
  • Experience in the business information or market intelligence fields highly preferred
  • Ability to work with SalesForce or other CRM systems
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT)
  • Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience is required
  • Experience working and succeeding in a quota and goal driven environment
